Click is infinite desk space. To eat at, meet around, work on, or learn at. The idea is as simple as it is useable: a clean surface without superfluities and legs that hook and link the desks. Taking advantage of the steel tube’s flexibility, one person can put the tables together and take them apart without using tools. 'Click' and the table turns around corners. 'Click' and the legs are up. 'Click' and the whole lot can be moved into the depot.

Specifications

DESIGN
Erik Magnussen designed the Click table, which was launched in 1994.

Description:
A table for the home, meeting rooms, canteen, conference rooms, educational rooms, and banqueting rooms.

Execution:
Click is infinite desk space. The concept is as simple as it is useable. A clean surface without frills and legs that hook on to and link the desks. Taking advantage of the steel tube’s flexibility, one person can put the tables together and take them apart without using tools.

Click consists of a lightweight panel board in laminate. The front panels are made with plastic laminate and the edges are in same color. The specially developed edge profile is made of plastic in two hardness: a soft exterior to absorb shock and a hard interior that furthermore strengthens the table. The U-shaped polish chome steel legs with plastic fittings cling and are secured to the table.

Tabletop:
32 mm lightweight panel board

Frame:
U-shaped legs in 32 mm tubular, polished chrome steel.

Meet the designer

Erik Magnussen

Erik Magnussen was born in Copenhagen in 1940. As a newly graduated ceramicist in the sixties, he started working for the then highly esteemed Copenhagen porcelain industry. Before long, he broke from tradition and created modern services with few multi-functional parts to avoid repeating the mistakes of the earlier multi-functional services.

He later applied this idea to the tabletop and furniture industries and went on to design the thermos for Stelton and the stackable chair, CHAIRIK®, for Engelbrechts. Both products are typical examples of how Erik Magnussen wipes the slate clean each time he begins on a new project and starts from scratch with the sole goal of improvement.
