The famous Kevi chair in new colours

13/10/2009: The classic Kevi chair is now being introduced in seven new varnish-painted colours to liven up your office or home. The new colours are: blue, green, red, yellow, orange, pink and brown.

We celebrated the Kevi chair's 50th anniversary last year. 2.5 million chairs have been produced since it was designed, making it one of the most popular pieces of office furniture of all time.

The Kevi range, which also includes upholstered models, was designed in 1958 by the Danish architects and twins Ib and Jørgen Rasmussen. In 1965 Jørgen Rasmussen invented the ´twin-wheel castor' for the chair, which has since made everything from Kevi chairs to Philips televisions easy to move.Kevi 2003 9 colours

The Kevi chair rests on a five-legged satin-polished aluminium swivel base. It has automatic height adjustment and manual adjustment of the backrest angle. The seat and backrest are made of 9 mm varnished moulded veneer.

The recommended sale price for the Kevi chair is EUR 420,00 excl. VAT. It is available from selected Engelbrechts resellers.
