PLATEAU in fabric from Designers Guild

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011, the furniture manufacturer Engelbrechts A/S presented the PLATEAU lounge chair upholstered with fabric from Designers Guild and with a four-star swivel base.

After a successful year on the market the PLATEAU lounge chair’s plate base has been replaced with a new four-star base. Erik Magnussen has decided to change the base to highlight the chair’s form even more and to create a more light and simple look. The new base is made of highly polished easy-to-clean aluminium and is available with or without automatic return swivel.

Engelbrechts’ stand (A04:18) in Stockholm showed the PLATEAU lounge chair in fabric from Designers Guild – with Appia velvet on the front and a Nabucco alligator pattern in woven velvet on the bottom and back of the chair.

The PLATEAU lounge chair is available with either fabric or leather upholstery. Prices start at EUR 2,385 excl. VAT. In fabric from Designers Guild, prices start at EUR 2,843 excl. VAT.
